Eclipse Walk With Light
Have you ever dreamed of wandering through a magical forest?
Back for its second edition, Eclipse Walk With Light turns your dreams into reality. The event opened its 2022 season last Friday and we tell you everything you need to know about it!
Eclipse Walk With Light is an interactive, artistic and unique forest walk aglow with more than 20,000 lights and featuring illuminated and interactive soundscapes that celebrate the cycles of days and seasons with music and spoken word.
The event is held inside Muskoka Heritage Place in Huntsville, Ontario. As you walk through the circular path, you will encounter heritage buildings and illuminated soundscapes. The route includes six different sound-to-light installations representing the seasons of the year, cycles of the day and phases of the moon.
- CRYSTALLINE: Capture this singular moment in time.
- AWAKEN: Ring to wake the flowers
- TWILIGHT: Try out different sounds to dance and play with light.
- SUNDIAL: Listen carefully, what do you hear?
- MOONRISE: Here you can dance your shadow on the moon. ]
In addition to the lights, you will also encounter music and spoken word throughout the event, including live entertainment on most weekends. You can also enjoy beavertails and poutine from Beavertails Huntsville, chicken sandwiches and doughnuts from Fox in the Henhouse and beverages, including hot and cold, alcoholic and not, from Canvas Brewing Co.
