Located in Torrance, ON, the Clear Lake area is known for its beautiful landscapes, cozy destinations and the infinite possible activities you can experience during your getaway. How about exploring fun destinations while quenching your thirst with local beer? We've selected great options for the perfect itinerary.
Start your adventure at the Clear Lake Brewing Co., a brewery located in the Muskoka Lakes producing the freshest beer all year round. Their 6 varieties of beer are available in cans, howlers, growlers, kegs, and on-tap:
  • Cream Ale, made with locally sourced honey
  • Amber Ale, with notes of caramel and hints of roasted grains
  • Session Ale is refreshing and inviting
  • American IPA, with fruity character and rich malt notes
  • Maple Espresso IPA, with locally sourced Muskoka maple syrup and a touch of espresso
  • Summer Ale a clear, clean and bright option
Everything is brewed with pride and intended for special reunions. Share it with friends and family, around the bonfire or just kicking back and relaxing on the dock.

Just across the road from the brewery is the Muskoka Beer Spa, where you will find pools, saunas, outdoor massages, hot tubs and (of course) beer! Enjoy great views from the lake, picnic tables, hammocks, fountains and even an ice skating rink. For those who may enjoy it, fishing is allowed in the area. The Day Visit package includes parking, access to lockers, towels and plenty of good times. Don´t forget to bring your own sandals, bathing suits, sunscreen and a reusable water bottle.

The space also offers cabins where you can spend the night… or the weekend… Choose from one, two or three bedrooms, all equipped with in-room beer taps, complimentary snacks, a good morning coffee and tea bar, and an incredible selection of VHS movies to choose from.

Feeling hungry? The area surrounding Clear Lake counts on three different restaurants to get you up and running before your next adventure or recharge after a day full of fun times. Grab a salad, sandwich, burger or quick snack from the brewery´s kitchen, or head down the road to  El Gringos: A Mexican cantina serving delicious tacos, hand-made guacamole and chips, and (YES!) margaritas. If you want to stick to beer, you may want to check The Cottage by Cottage Springs out. A pizza place offering over 20 signature flavours and delicious local beer.

Before heading out, make sure to stop by the gift shop to check out some cool souvenirs and kitchenware or bring home some beer! Worried about being the DD? No need to! The Muskoka Beer Spa covers up to CAD$ 100 of the shuttle expenses for groups of 4-6, so you can enjoy your experience with peace of mind.
