3 spots to grab coffee in Muskoka this Fall & Winter

Who does’t love a fresh cup of coffee?

A Cappuccino, maybe?

What about a vanilla latte?

The truth is, when it comes to coffee, the possibilities are endless, and as temperatures get lower and lower, it is the perfect opportunity to support local businesses and get to know new coffee shops for a warming hot beverage. The Muskoka area offers some amazing coffee options and we gathered our favourites—that are open this time of year—in this blog post.

Relish Gravenhurst

Relish is a kitchen and market all about real food, made with care and love. It is located in the heart of historic downtown Gravenhurst in a renovated 1900’s Salvation Army Church.

Aside from the market, you will find fresh salads and soups (that vary based on the season), baked goods and, of course, coffee! They specialize in espresso based beverages and serve anything from Lattes to Americanos, from Cappuccinos to classic espresso shots. Their options include Oat, Almond, Cashew, Soy and Cows milk.

They are located on 240 Muskoka Road in Gravenhurst, and are open from Wednesday to Saturday. For extra information, you can visit their website.

Oliver’s Coffee

  • House mild
  • Decaf
  • Ethiopia
  • Espresso
  • Decaf Espresso
  • Peru

  • Bolivia
  • Northern dark
  • Nicaragua
  • El Salvador

You will also find flavoured coffee blends including:

  • French Vanilla
  • French Caramel
  • Butter Pecan
  • Swiss Chocolate
  • Almond
  • Irish Cream
  • Hazelnut Cream
  • Vanilla Hazelnut

They offer coffee by the cup and by the pound, and beverages offered in-store include drip coffee, tea, cappuccinos, americano, latte, espresso, mocha, hot chocolate, french vanilla and hot apple cider. You will also find cold drinks including frappuccinos, iced cappuccinos, iced coffee and more.

Oliver’s coffee has locations in Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Port Carling, Bala and Huntsville. For more information, you can visit their website.

Affogato Café + Gelato

Located in Huntsville, Affogato Cafe + Gelato is an italian-inspired shop serving coffee and authentic gelato including gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free options. You can grab specialty coffees, beverages and desserts seven days a week at 72 Main St E in Huntsville.

Make sure to stop at The Muskoka Store for amazing shopping and gift options for your Christmas celebration. We can't wait to see you!

An honourable mention goes to Jack & Stella in Bala. But unfortunately, they are open seasonally, so they are closed at the moment for coffee. We are looking forward to iced lattes on their dock when the nice weather returns!
